Game On! NOP Takes Tailgating to the Next Level!
Spirit gear and team colors were out in full force for the Neighbors of Pinehurst Fall Tailgate Progressive Dinner—and, thankfully, everyone managed to keep their team rivalries friendly!
The evening kicked off with a Tailgate Cocktail Party at the beautiful home of G and Tim Kiggins. Guests enjoyed an impressive array of team-themed appetizers, plenty of spirited conversation, and the opportunity to meet new friends while catching up with old ones. Clearly, the only competition of the evening was over who brought the best team spirit!
Then it was off to our assigned dinner homes, where hosts prepared a casual dinner inspired by their favorite team, with everyone contributing to the feast. Good food, great company, lots of laughs—and perhaps a little friendly team banter—made for an awesome night.
A huge thank-you to our wonderful cocktail hosts, and to all of our dinner hosts. You definitely raised the bar—and the challenge—for next time!
And a special kudos to Progressive Dinner Chair Leonor Jacobson for her creativity, enthusiasm, and ongoing passion for making this such a fun and memorable NOP event.
All in all, it was a winning night for everyone—regardless of which team you were cheering for!
Dining Out–195
Neighbors of Pinehurst kicked off the fall season with a wonderful Dining Out event at 195 American Fusion!
Dining Out co-chairs extraordinaire, Cathy Slocum and Pat Sykora, orchestrated a superb culinary experience and a delightful evening filled with conversation, laughter, and friendship. It was especially fun to welcome so many new NOP members while also reconnecting with longtime friends.
What a fantastic kickoff to a busy and exciting fall season of NOP events and activities!
Popup Event – Red’s Corner – April 2026
Yet another NOP Pop-Up is officially in the books—and WOW, what a FUN night at Red’s Corner! We scored the perfect setup with covered tables (huge thanks to Michael Apodaca!!) right in the sweet spot—just steps from the drinks, food trucks, and LIVE music. The weather couldn’t have been better, and members soaked it all in—great food, refreshing drinks, and even better conversations with both familiar faces and new friends. All around, it was one of those easy, laughter-filled evenings that remind us how much fun these get-togethers can be. Kudos to Michael Apodaca for dreaming up such a fantastic pop-up event—we’re already looking forward to the next one!
